First Post.

Well, I am very glad to have a fresh start. I have to say, I've got a billion or so blogs out in the netherworld that is the Internets. But I'm intrigued, to say the least.

I was recently looking on Wikipedia for one of my favorite authors, Garth Nix. I was looking at the Old Kingdom Series links when I saw another book I had never heard of and whose link was not in essence "clickable." I went crazy rifling through about a million different links before I found anything remotely related.

Apparently, Clariel: The Lost Abhorsen is a prequel. Huh. And there is going to be a sequel to the last published book. As of late, it is still untitled. The books are set to be released in 2010 and 2011. I am sort of intrigued to read these. But since I haven't read the last book relatively related to the Abhorsen trilogy, I'm not in a hurry to purchase these books once they are published.

This book is called Across the Wall and along with various short stories continuing the trilogy and various unrelated completely ridiculous short stories (that I can't wait to read!!!) there is a role playing game. I have to play this game!!!

You start by renting both a Three Musketeers costume as well as the movie. You watch the movie in costume and try opening bottles of red wine with the plastic rapier. Of course once you break everything save the tv in whatever room you attempt this stunt in, you are supposed to drink the remainder of the wine and then play the game. Sounds like fun to me!!!!

Well, I think I'm going to go and find some movie to watch. Need to rewatch the ending of BSG and actually watch Psych before I can let Friday be over.

Until next time,
Ellie.
